Fujiyama satisfies my poke cravings! Their ingredients are fresh and I love how you can build your own bowl with practically unlimited toppings. They even give you extra rice for free if you'd like with your poke bowl. For the price, you get a lot of food. I was able to split a small poke bowl into two meals (and I was super hungry)! The establishment is next to Lucky's and it's a little hidden, but it's definitely worth trying if you're into sushi/poke bowls.

If you like spicy, get the Volcano Sushirrito. It is awesome! Great little sushi dive.

We had two salads (no rice, no nori burrito) with a varieties of toppings.

We both liked it. I think it's a little expensive as the protein portions are small.

The spicy tuna is not like a spicy tuna roll, rather it's sort of a pinkish tuna salad and rather mild actually. The ahi was too heavily marinated and a little tough.

They toppings were great with a wide variety. The spicy mango salsa and the poke salad dressing were a bit spicy but certainly not hot.

    Overall pleasant but very sweet.

We might go back if in the mood but $12 for the large (3 protein size) is at least a buck and more like two too much.

Amazing!! Must eat there. This is the TNT but monster is my favorite they have some deals Monday through Thursday. Im surprised it's not usually full.

Amazing doesn't begin to describe it! From the service to the sampling of items you may have never tried, this was a wonderful experience. I highly recommend the sushi burrito, and load it up with your favorite ingredients.

Love me some Sushi! Anyway I can get it and mostly get it here! Prices are reasonable and everything I've tried I've truly enjoyed!

I can't believe I didn't try this place sooner! The employees are so nice and the food is amazing. I've been 3 times in 2 weeks because it's so good. I've tried the TNT sushi burrito as well as the California sushi burrito. It tastes really fresh and the TNT is definitely worth trying. They also don't charge you for sauces like spicy mayo as other restaurants do which is nice.

I have been to Fujiyama Sushi Burrito restaurant twice now (once for lunch and once for dinner) and both times the food has been delicious and consistent. This restaurant is located in the shopping center with the Lucky's grocery store near Florida State University. The Poke-Poke and Tuna Lover sushi burritos are delicious and one is plenty filling as a meal. The counter service is very cordial and friendly. The food is brought to your table. Had a coupon recently in the local AdMax booklet and hope more people find this restaurant.

It's hidden in the back right corner of the Lucky's Market plaza, don't miss it.
Great food and not very expensive. Very kind and helpful staff. The only vegetarian option is tofu but there's a lot of combinations. Sushi burritos and poke bowls are awesome.

I LOVE sushi burritos. They are so innovative and delicious. Fujiyama does a pretty good job of making them! Definitely not the highest quality fish in town, but definitely good. By now you should know what my favorite sushi restaurant in town is lol but this place has potential. :)

A great new spot in tally! I love supporting local business, and this one is worthy trying out. If you are craving something fresh and healthy, Check out this poke bowl and sushi burrito spots, I'll def be back!

I ordered sushi burritos to be delivered to my house by Bite Squad, so I haven't actually been into the restaurant. I ordered the poke poke burrito and the TNT burrito. Both were very good! I'd say the poke poke was my favorite of the two, it was fresh and bursting with great flavor. The TNT was a tad bit greasy for me (it's fried) but that may have been due to it being delivered and not eaten immediately, it was still very good. Definitely check this place out!

Excellent food and service! I'm hoping this place survives because it's one of the better Asian places in town. TNT sushirrito was delicious as well as the build your own poke bowl. They had great recommendations for sauces and toppings.

The world has blessed Tallahassee with the perfect food. The gate has opened and the angels are singing. Ladies and gentleman thank your lucky stars we have the one, the only, the "SUSHI BURRITO". Fusion at it finest and stealthy in flavor. I first fell in love with sushi burrito when I visited California over 5 years ago. Now the food trend has plotted itself in my home where I intend to never let it go. I visited the other day meeting my best friend for an after gym gobble down. Heavy ab day causes big time gobbles. PRO-TIP = go there with a close friend and when your burrito comes out suggest you switch a burrito half so you get to try 2 flavors for 1 sitting. I call this the ole 2 and 1. Get with it folks. We decided on the whopping TNT and the Volcano however neither where disastrous, rather pleasant flavor bombs exploding taste buds and massaging your tummy with love and sensuality. The Volcano surprising with Poke sauce and Mango salsa really drives the fusion home. Stuffed with tempura shrimp and jalapeo. Not to spicy but spicy enough. The TNT was again not to spicy but let's keep it real here. It's hard to overwhelm me with spicy. I like to cry a little. The cream cheese to eel sauce balance really tickled my fancy. The avocado and salmon is a classic flavor that can't go wrong. But what really made this special was the entire roll is danced in a tempura batter and deep fried. Can you get this in your food hole quick enough? It's like a sushi burritos version of a chimichanga. This is my go to fuel stop for after the gym from this moment forward. Thank you thank you thank you world for blessing us with the amazing Fujiyama.

    Sushirrito ... is the best

I came here with my fiance and we each got a sushi burrito -- the monster and the Jigglypuff. We got very friendly, helpful service, including getting to try the mango salsa before committing to it (turns out it was great anyway -- made in house, along with other ingredients). The food came out quickly and was a good size for the price, especially considering how dense and filling sushi is. Everything was excellent and we will definitely be returning.

If you live in the area you should absolutely give this place a try. Trendy food like this usually only shows up in places like New York, Miami, and West Coast cities. If you want to encourage more cool/fun (and good!!) places to open, support this one.

Great poke. Different style than most I've been too because they toss all the toppings together. Came midday at around 1:30. This was my second visit and they are very friendly and the food was fresh.

  • *****

The place is fantastic! The food is delicious and the restaurant is nice, clean, and cozy. :D

The food taste fresh and wonderful. From the poke bowls, to the chicken wings. Everything is great!

Would definitely suggest a sushirrito or a bowl. The TNT sushirrito is top notch.

This place is great!!! I got a sushiritto and everything was fresh. Very clean and nice environment. The employees are very nice, they explained the menu very well. I would definitely be back and recommend it to all!

Great food. Great service. Hot and sour soup was the bomb!

  • *****

This place was really good! The pieces are kind of hard to eat because they are so big but they were still delicious. We both got the TNT deep fried sushi burrito.

  • *****

Was looking for a new sushi spot when Fujiyama came up on my searches. So glad to be able to try poke! Basically a deconstructed sushi role in a bowl. The service was so attentive, and had any vegan and vegetarian options. Great local business!

  • *****

Poke Bowls are excellent. Tons of topping to choose from. Quality, fresh ingredients. YUM.

  • *****

Sushi burrito - what a great idea! And there was a great selection of food, and very friendly service.

"Fresh, Fast, and Friendly! - Hibachi, Poke Bowl, Sushiritos (Sushi Burrito), wings & more... freshest variety of sauces around!"

This is a new place with excellent food and service. Not sure how the reviews are from last year since they were not open then. Great choices and great flavor. Would highly recommend this restaurant!!!!!!!!

A cool, minimalist decor and good food of a variety hard to get elsewhere in Tallahassee. I have been here a number of times, the food is fresh and consistently delicious.

The only qualms I have to offer are first that the music inside is a little loud - it's a little uncomfortable to sit and eat, which might be why when I do so, I mostly watch people getting takeout.

Secondly, the eat-in wait can be a little long for the chicken wings. Considering they come to the table the same temperature as a dying sun's core this might be because they are fried start to finish at the moment of order. Extreme freshness is good, but a compromise could probably be made somehow to increase the pace at which food arrives.

Overall, though, the food is great, I've come more than once and will come again.

Okay, so I'm surprised this place isn't more busy than it is. There wasn't anyone inside when I went around 7pm. It's also on the side of a strip mall plaza. They've only been open about two months now, so I hope to see their business grow.

However! Fujiyama is super good! The food tasted fresh, and the burrito was a bit bigger than I thought it was going to be! I got the Monster, which had tempura shrimp and crab, cream cheese, and avocado. It was really good. It's basically a giant sushi roll, so if you like sushi, try this place.

They also have things like Asian chicken wings and poke bowls. I didn't try any, but I'll make sure to next time.

The staff was friendly, and gave me some recommendations. The inside is nice, clean, and organized. The only thing I will say is that the chairs seemed pretty flimsy, but everything else was great.

I was hungry so I went to check this place out.

I ordered the Monster: Tempura Krab, Tempura Shrimp, Avacodo, Cream Cheese, Eel Sauce, and I didn't get the mango salsa because it was too spicy for me.

It was good. A quiet little place tucked in the corner of a busy lot. It's worth giving something new a try. I'll probably bring my husband to try them out.

I had a sushi burrito in NYC and didn't think I'd ever see one again unless I went back there. I was so excited to see one in Tally. Absolutely amazing!! Any sushi lover will find this place to be heaven.
And they even have chicken wings for those non-sushi eaters. Great service and amazing, fresh, creative food.

The ONLY reason I'm not giving this place 5-stars is because my conscious won't let me give a perfect score to a place that uses Styrofoam everything. It's 2017 and my self-righteous self can't conceive of creating so much toxic waste when I have kids who will be inheriting the earth.

Ok, off my soap-box: the food is amazing. I've had sushirritos before and I'm a huge fan because I love sushi and I love gimmicky takes on sushi. My mom and I split the butterfly and a hibachi poke bowl with tofu. The hibachi poke bowl is not at all poke (although they do offer traditional poke and it looks wonderful) but really tasty fried rice with (in our case) perfectly bbq'd tofu and some wonderful glazed carrots. Super satisfying and an overall great deal. The sushirrito was SO good! Not a ton of food but perfectly packaged filled with fresh eel and eel sauce, tempura shrimp, avocado and cucumber. It was easy to eat and every bite was full of fresh and tasty goodies.

The woman who took our order and made our food was super kind, patient and obviously took a lot of pride and care in the food preparation. She checked in on us to make sure we loved our food (we did!).

I will definitely be back and can't wait to not be pregnant so I can eat ALL the raw fish (and if you know my consumption capabilities, you know this is no exaggeration).

I am a little delayed in my review of our first visit to Fujiyama, but I delay no more!

Our visit to this unique establishment was a delight. The food, the staff and the store was really superb!

We all ordered different things. I was feeling adventurous and a little healthy minded and went with a Poke bowl, on lettuce. Typically, this "healthy" approach is a death wish for flavor and satisfaction, but not this time. As my dish was doen before all the others at our table, everyone took turns trying my poke salad and commented on how good it was. I think they liked it a little too much! I mean, how much healthier can you get than to order a salad based poke salad and have your family eat half of it for you? ;)

My wife and two kids both ordered large burrito style wraps. Here is where I got mine...trying each of theirs, they were all incredibly delicious.

In addition to the great food, we had several great conversations with the staff and even had a chance to meet the owner. This place is really tucked back into the corner of the strip mall, so it was a bit slow - but the staff is engaging and ready for customers!

The restaurant was very clean. Commenting on this, the staff told me how the owner holds them all to very high standards for the cleanliness of the store. That's always comforting to hear!

My family has been back a few times since our first visit, and it continues to impress. I can't wait to go back.

Great place to have poke bowel. Ingredients were fresh, fishes were amazing! It's really clean inside. Felt great to have lunch and dinner here.

They were very nice and helpful, the food was really good. There nothing like their cilantro sauce and the poke sauce. Everything in super clean and fresh. A Really great place overall.

I really loved coming here for some casual sushi that doesn't break the bank, but meets a craving. This is definitely a great spot to visit and try out sushi burritos!

I have to say I was spoiled with amazing fast casual sushi when I lived in DC, so I know a good sushi burrito when I eat one.

I got the tuna lover once in store and once to go. When we visited, the boyfriend got the eel and cucumber one (forgetting the name right now) and we split the volcano bananas. Everything was really great! We both enjoyed it and I was not charged for my side of spicy mayo I asked for (sauces are free) and that's definitely a plus! I think I'll be visiting here more often.

Out of the poke places I've tried in Florida this place is my favorite. Their green cilantro sauce is good and definitely not typical. The fish tasted fresh and flavorful with all the other sauces mixed in. The portions are generous given the price. I'll definitely be back to try other items on the menu!

  • *****

I really enjoyed the Regular Bowl with half rice and half salad, tofu, mango salad, green onions, edamame, cilantro, Poke Sauce, and Ginger Dressing on the side. The food was high quality, service was top notch, and the restaurant was very clean. I will certainly be back!

  • *****

I give this place four stars because I've only been here once so far. The staff was very friendly and accommodating and the food tasted fresh. If you build your own, you get to pick 2 or 3 proteins and unlimited toppings! Would definitely recommend

This place is really good ! Definitely coming here whenever I have a sushi craving (at least once a week). Fujiyama deserves some spotlight . More people need to know about this place.

Had such a wonderful experience here staff was super helpful and accommodating. Food was delicious and fresh. I will definitely be coming back.

I have been here twice now. The first time, I got the TNT sushirroto. The second time, I got a poke bowl. They were both delicious and filling.

The good: You have a lot of options here. You can either order a preformulated item (e.g. the TNT) or you can build your own. They're set up like a small, poke version of a Moe's or Chipotle where you go down the line and tell them what you want in your bowl/sushirrito. They also have cooked dishes and specials. The ingredients taste good and fresh, staff are very helpful and friendly, the establishment is clean with lots of seating, and service is fast. Also, if you check in on Yelp, you get a discount.

The less than good: This is really a to-go kind of place. While they have plenty of seating, it's not particularly comfortable, there's no wifi, and the staff are apparently required to stand at the counter--which, when you're the only customer in the place, is a little awkward because you end up having three different people ask you how you're enjoying your meal. The fact that you pay before putting your dish together is also unfortunate since it locks you into the items you selected at the register.

Bottom line: I will be back, but I will be ordering my food to-go. Also, if you want to try this place, you should probably do it now. They're tucked in a dark corner of a strip mall and don't seem to be doing enough business to stay afloat long.

Today was my family's first time at Fujiyama, but we will definitely be returning. The food was excellent. I ordered the Jigglypuff sushirrito, which includes shrimp tempura, spicy tuna, seaweed salad and was wrapped in pink soybean paper. Everyone was extremely pleased with their meal. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We plan to return often.
